Opened in 2010 in a grade II listed historic house in the Old Town of Margate, the multi-award-winning Lifeboat offers a heady mix of draught cask & craft beers, not forgetting the full Brewdog range, just like you'd find in their top city centre bars.

There's a huge range of West Country & Kentish ciders & perries, an extensive wine list including Champagne & prosecco, Kentish mead & cyser, bespoke artisan spirits & hot drinks featuring Marley coffee. For foodies we have the *Sustanance For The People* menu of Kentish   pies,sausages,vegetarian tarts, vegan & gluten free options, Jacket potatoes, ploughmans Lunch, fine British cheeses, & Margate grown green leaf salads. 

There's a full programme of entertainment with Jazz club every Monday,open mic every other Tuesday, funk jam  every other Wednesday, live bands on Thursday and Sunday & cool vinyl DJ every Friday & Saturday. In the summer you can sun yourself with our  outside seating area under the tree in the marketplace,or in the winter cosy up in front of our 17th century inglenook fireplace.
